MAJOR EVENTS
Baal Samskaar Shibir Samapanam - A Baal Samskar Shibir was organised by the Warkari Sampradaya at Sree Ramadasa Ashram from 25th April to 9th May 2010. All the children were taught music, Yoga, Karate, cultural themes, songs, stories, etc. They lived in the Ashram away from their parents just like in a Gurukul. Sree Kishan Rao Kathore (Hon. MLA) was invited for the Samaapana Function. After Swamiji's speech :HE EXPRESSED FULL SUPPORT FOR SWAMIJI'S DEVELOPMENTAL ACTIVITIES_9th May 2010
Gurupoornima 2010 - Marathi, Gujarati and Malayali Tamilian Devotees mainly from Vasai, Vashi and Dombivili did Paad Pooja of Swamiji. Swamiji did Abhisheka of Guru Paaduka (chappals once worn by Guruji) and Paaduka Parikrama (keeping them on his head and walking) These chappals are now installed in our Ved Mandir. At night a butterfly was sitting on Swamiji's bedroom curtain. Parama Guruji Brahmasree Neelakanta Gurupadar gives Darshan as butterfly, grasshopper or frog (though he once took the form of a tiger as well: relevant incidents will be added later)_25th July 2010
First Karkitaka Vav Bali Function 2010. Karkitaka Masam. Offerings to ancestors in South Indian style. Most important Amavasi (new moon) for this function. In later years our function has covered the cover pages of top magazines and newspapers in Mumbai. Before Corona we used to get 5,000 people on that single day coming for Bali or Pitru Shraadh. 9th Aug 2010.
